    I was totally unaware of Joan Bennett’s story before Karina started working on this, and it’s riveting stuff. Like a real life film noir.

    For the past year I've been working in secret on a podcast miniseries about actress Joan Bennett, whose husband, producer Walter Wanger, shot her agent/lover in 1951. It's a collaboration w/ (JB's granddaughter), & . It debuts a week from today!

    This movie knocked me out.

    Odds Against Tomorrow is on in the Robert Ryan collection but it could fit in the neo-noir lineup—it uses materials from the previous 20 years of the genre to reinvent it. It rules.
