belts actually work your abs harder though
this is an issue, which is why it’s good to do exercises which focus on that like breathing pause squats. Overall using a belt gives you more ab work though

yeah, I’ve been “meaning to get one for a while” but when I worked out w/ a middle aged family friend he made me use one, turned up my work weight by 15% and was so smug about it after I didn’t fail any sets that I had to break down and do it
