but people who have more of this dont have access to anything 'normal' people dont, they dont have privileged knowledge, theyre just using a certain cognitive tool much more frequently

I have "inner speech" but I also try to conjure up "pictures" in my mind, though of course they're never so vivid that I actually see them.

Can't do faces outside of dreams though, I have to be looking at them. But I have noticed that I never really look at faces in dreams. Like they're there but I never focus on them.

don't see faces even of ppl i know in dreams, just have the impression that they are who they are, or impression of how they look

But on the flip side when I was driving to South Carolina I could picture the Eastern Seaboard and my approximate location. Name a country and I can envision it on a map and the neighboring countries.
