Very wet and rainy and grey evening in May - the exact sort of weather which makes me I wish I could drive or had a car. I have the whole weekend to myself unexpectedly so have no plans now and am at a loss for what to do. I would like to just go somewhere privately.

This is exactly what it was like being a feminist in school having both men and women hang up on and ridicule you using misogyny but she remained composed, articulate and focused on dismantling all of his arguments and slippery manipulations of the debate

abolish the monarchy. seize their property and wealth for the people. turn the palaces into social housing. that man is not my king, and he’s not yours either.

you all think of a tortoise as slow, but i think about the burden he has to carry on his back. yeah it’s for protection, but ultimately it’s the coffin he’s gonna get buried in, and he has to drag that thing around his entire life?

Protest is an act. You don’t need laws to tell you when or how you’re allowed to protest. It’s meant to be disruptive. The recent ‘public order’ laws are authoritarian & oppressive, intended to suppress anti-government and anti-monarchy sentiments.

Remember when Patrick Bateman murdered random homeless men in American Psycho and it was depicted as this unconscionable act of pure evil anyway the New York Times just said it's alright now as long as they're really bothering you

So nice to work for a company who make the effort to be so transparent about the money they make, how sustainable they are, what the goals are, where you can literally go and talk to the designers as someone who works in the shop selling the clothes

The brand I work for had a next season collection (AW23) preview and company meeting including efforts on equity and sustainability and this was my dinner (plus like 3 glasses of white wine lol)
