i just want to take a second to say that i am consistently stunned and delighted by how open the climate movement has been to me and other folks who have come to this work from other places.

it's meant a lot to me, especially as someone who really values experience and expertise. i have refused to speak up so many times because i didn't think i had enough experience. sometimes, i was right. but a lot of times, i'm not so sure that i was.
i know climate is a special situation because it's inherently so interdisciplinary and intersectional (and also CRISIS). but i hope it's something that i can help spread the same attitude to other spaces and movements that i'm involved in. it could bring so much!
Your style of engagement has been so refreshing: open to discussion, honest about uncertainties, and thoughtful for where others are coming from. It's infectious and hard not to reciprocate.
