In Kansas, they tried to pass a bill to curtail transgender rights.
It was vetoed by their democratic governor.
They attempted to override the veto, and fell short by one vote. One local house race made the difference for thousands of trans people.

A transgender librarian was attacked in a public library in Boise, Idaho.
This comes after multiple instances around the country of Proud Boys entering libraries and calling LGBTQ+ books "grooming."
This is the inevitable result. Violence against trans people and librarians.

The FL Board of Medicine yesterday voted to pull the license of any doctor who provides gender affirming care to trans people younger than 18. I doubt they will stop there. Trans adults are next. I cannot survive without the medical therapies which make my existence possible.
