Non-technical people may not appreciate just how good this analogy is. "A photo of a burned receipt for a space Imbued With Art" maps almost perfectly to "an on-chain URL to a no-longer-resolving JSON file which once included a sha256 hash of a digital artwork." Plus ça change!
