Trump knew within minutes no missile was hurtling toward Hawaii. He was golfing. They told him. He did not tweet out that info. He kept golfing. People thought they & their families were going to die FOR 38 MINS. Then when the panic was over he tweeted how media is so mean to him

Something doesn’t add up here. Why did no one inform the frightened population that there was no missile attack?

Local. Government. Issue. Local govt says they didn’t know they made the mistake until it started showing up on the phones in the office. 38 minutes later, they issue an EAS statement of false alarm. Original Post said Trump, the President over the States including Hawaii knew in minutes. So yes, they could have done the logical thing and notified Hawaii there was an error. It does not matter if it was a state government issue.

I’m sure by the time they heard, they figured the state of Hawaii would send out a retraction… Since they were the ones that supposedly pressed the wrong button… But like every other liberal sheep, blame Trump

They did when they realized it happened...probably 20 minutes after the US Government KNEW there was not one. So why can the President not let them know? I didn't realize him doing his job was such a hassle. Maybe he should quit.

Blame Trump all day long, but this was a local government that requested millions of dollars to set up this system. Hawaii is a reparation State and they take as much money as they can from the fed and pocket it. Here’s what I went through todaypic.twitter.com/rDdqazsyr7

A real leader like Obama or Hillary would've made a public statement to console the 1.5 million Americans who went through this traumatic episode. They also would've pledged to make sure it never happens again.
