Sadly the qualifications for winning and succeeding at the job differ dramatically.

So you think there are 'some' who have that 'experience' to do that job as you describe? No. What there is >> People who are well read, able/willing to learn, can deal w/people, have wide life-experience, proven ability to manage time .. THOSE ARE SKILLS that a leader needs.

NOBODY comes to the job with EXPERIENCE at that job - so the SKILLS SET needs to be evaluated. There are people who have that skill set, OPRAH is one of those people and

After the damage we will have sustained from the Trump regime, more then ever we need to hire someone with the skills for this job, not just someone who is popular and successful in a very different kind of role in the private sector. The skill sets are not equivalent.

What's critically important for any leader is to surround oneself with the best, most qualified people in order to make an informed decision. To the extent that Oprah (or anyone else, for that matter) does that, is the extent to which maximum effectiveness is achieved.

She’s done all of those things on business and personal level. She’s one of the all time greatest influencers and lives her life with integrity and compassion. I would trust her to run anything and leave it a better place then when she started. She’s profoundly inspirational.
