Show me the candidate who has accomplished more with their lives, who’ll get numbers like Oprah in a general, and who can do what she did last night. I’ll wait.

Shouldn't you really go for someone who's experienced? Really? When did relevant experience for the most important in the world become so unimportant?

I’m all in for a Sally Yates 2020 run.

I think you have a valid point. Time to raise te bar. If Oprah wants to start a political career, she can run for senator or governor.

Years of experience. She is a very accomplished professional communicator.

It was not off the cuff. It was brilliant — and well-rehearsed.

I worry that a celebrity is the only kind of POTUS we are going to elect. People have turned it into a cult of personality and a real politician will get the "they are not likable enough" tag again. Also a blank slate politically seems like a bigger asset than experience.

Let her make her case. She will have to do that anyway.

Oprah is not qualified to be president. She has no experience in politics and government.

My only hope is that Oprah would be humble enough and sane enough to surround herself with people who knew what they were doing rather than thinking she had all the answers like Trump does.

I'd be much more interested in her running as a Republican.
-
If she ran as a Republican, she could transform that party, save it from the madmen and the racists.

Experience will not win an election, 2016 showed us that. If it showed anything, cult of personality reigns supreme. Until Dems can bring a more captivating, inspirational candidate, I’m with her.

Mike Bloomberg. Experience. Integrity. Not self interested, or looking to make money off the job. Will act in the best interests of the country, the same exact way he did for NYC. I know its a dream, but he would be the best solution to this nightmare.

Zero people elected president for the first time has experience - if you are talking political exp that is no recipe for understanding the workings of govt. Trump is doing badly because he brought in 0 political hands who worked for the WH. Oprah will be more of a team player

Reza, I think folks are making this purely a binary choice, with no consideration to additional options. The next Presidential election is a long way off....
