Recommend Michael Lewis' articles in Vanity Fair about the DOE and USDA. Governing well requires expertise. Let's go back in that direction, not assume it's all just marketing.

America has sadly changed. It's a culture based on celebrity Reza. This was going to happen sooner or later. Americans relate to celebrities. Now the question is do you have a nutjob celebrity like Trump or a good hearted one like Oprah. There is no 3rd option here I'm afraid.

She really would hire the best people, tell the truth, learn as she governed, make friends on the world stage, protect immigrants, the planet, national parks, build bridges real ones and friendships. I want her but she shouldn’t do it.

I'm not sure it would be good for her to run, either, but something needs to change in our government. The middle class always takes the hit regardless of who's elected and there isn't one lifer-politician who isn't corrupt.

And how have our "politicians" who are qualified for the job performed thus far? I prefer her compared to some that are supposedly qualified.

While I agree that we must start steering away from the cult of personality, comparing Trump to Oprah is silly. Oprah is a self made success story, Trump inherited his wealth. Obama had very little governing experience once he was elected. It can be done.
