Me too, but it was West Germany back then. I was in Hanau-am-Main.

I was in Giessen Germany, North of Frankfurt. Always in the field playing war games.

Hanau is about 15 miles northeast of Frankfurt. I was in a 3rd echelon Engineering company, so we weren't in the field that much. Germany was real country club duty in those days, but Vietnam changed everything.
