UH, who is going to tell him we are still paying the Diplomats. We don't STOP paying them because they come home or are reassigned.

My understanding is that the bulk of the personnel are local hires. So, I guess, they go home and continue collecting their U.S. paycheck?

Either way, Russia cannot fire them if they didn't hire them, they were expelled t fired.
