Religious school, charters & homeschooling bankrupted the school budget. They study the Torah & do not work so, food stamps, etc.

It is the largest orthodox community outside Israel & there is a lot of tension in surrounding towns it's overflowing into.

People who object to them not paying taxes (we pay the most in US) or such a large community becoming a drain on resources are anti semitic

Towns had to pass a do not knock law because ppl felt harassed by attempts to expand their community - in trying to buy homes not for sale.
