It's Wahhabi's power-play. Abdullah's attempts at liberalization coincide with rise of ISIS. ISIS a political proxy of clerics.
-
Abdullah's dead. There's a new king. But who cares. Right? We're all wahabis and world would be better off. Right?
-
No one equated all Muslim's to Wahhabi's. My tweet was only about relationship between KSA clerics, ISIS and Saudi State.
-
So when a Russian citizen joins isis. And blows himself in Turkey. Who do u blame? I'm Saudi, was educated here. Why didn't i join?
-
There is no link between Istanbul and ISIS. There is barely any ISIS anymore. It's just a brand for various groups.
-
U haven't answered. How's saudi blamed?
-
The center of Islamic millennialism that is the basis of ISIS' fundamental approach to Jihad is in KSA; it's Salafism.
-
That's geographical coincidence, friend! Same way Islam originated in the region which is now part of KSA. Nothing more!

So saudi citizens (private donors) do not contribute a cent towards salafi jihadism? I find that hard to believe
-
Private donors fund them not govt. Support is very hard to track when the money is in cash or given to charity.
-
But we cannot dismiss the ideology of Daesh is in large part due to KSA exporting wahhabsim.

Even al Kalbani who was former Grand Mufti of Mecca Mosque said "ISIS are Salafi like us." It's a power-play in KSA.
