@rezaaslan Umayyads wanted to accumulate as much ass possible of the hadeeth without checking credibility or if it contradicts Quran. -
@rezaaslan So for ex one would find traces of stoning penalty in hadeeth but never in Qur'an.. -
@AhmadKozba rule of thumb: the Hadiths are unreliable.The reliable text is the one dictated by an angel & has flying horses & talking ants. -
@AhmadKozba btw, stoning penalty is in the Old Testament, canonical text in Islam.

@Abdulghafour Allah preserved the Qu'ran not the hadiths.It doesn't mean all hadiths are wrong but some of them are contradicting the Qu'ran -
@absolutelyhalal scholars of hadith know that, that's not the question -
@Abdulghafour Brother with all the denominations and sects scholars can't agree on everything.. Imagine all the blasphemous hadiths.. -

@Abdulghafour Yes but some hadiths in sahih collection contradict the Qu'ran, "scholars" didn't exist when our Prophet (pbuh) was alive.
