@jhamby@rezaaslan In a lot of cases celebrities have limited control over their fanclubs. Poppy Z. Brite got kicked out; Lennon got shot. -
@kragen@rezaaslan Lennon was shot by a loner seeking attention, not a fan. A better example is Selena, who was killed by her fan club mgr.
