@rezaaslan It's an issue here in Quebec; it would allow a Hijab but forbid a Niqab or Burqa when getting a drivers licence photo, for ex -
@prenerk@rezaaslan Is a valid state interest in a facial photo on ID. There isn't such an interest in a general ban on veils in public. -
@MonaHol@rezaaslan That's also my understanding. But I don't see any problem letting the veil go back on after the photo is taken
