This gentleman has a new book out and is calling the Gospels myths: @rezaaslan
// @carmorg @RFupdates @DrOakley1689 @UnbelievableJB
@DrOakley1689 Then why are the infancy narratives unhistorical?
-
-
@rezaaslan Unhistorical? Dates, rulers, locations---that is not how "mythology" is written. -
@DrOakley1689 Dates are incorrect. Rulers are misidentified. Locations are confused. There is a difference between history & sacred history. -
@rezaaslan It is easy to make accusations and conclude falsehoods. Cheap way out. "Sacred history" is a cop out category. -
@DrOakley1689 Ok. You're welcomed to your religious beliefs. Bye. -
@rezaaslan And you are welcome to your skeptical materialism. Just don't call it belief, and don't call it neutral.
