I think Nationalists come in all colors.... I think Nationalists are cool.... I think border walls work to keep out disease and undesirable people, not to mention drugs. Socialism is just a big power grab by the Elites. Nationalism is a good thing, keeps us strong.

"White nationalism" is a term made up by the media to conflate actual nationalism with white supremacy. It's the same thing they've done with illegal immigrants and legal immigrants under the guise of being anti immigrant . They make no distinction between the two.

There is such a thing as white nationalism, but you're right that the media conflates any type of nationalism by white people (even if it's non-exclusionary) with "white nationalism."

I think they're also conflating White separatism with nationalism. A nationalist favors all members of their nation regardless of color or religion over foreign interests.

The problem is that "nationalism" requires a common interest which sublimates their identities to the overarching American identity, which is "white supremacy" according to their definitions.
