They are truly and wholeheartedly going to do all they can to preserve their attachment to the wealthy. Progressives thought the fight against the far-right was going to be difficult? History shows it's always the centrists that pave the way to the gallows.

What about us that don’t care about the wealthy and just don’t like to see people in our party feud? I don’t think it’s fair to label centrists or Pelosi supporters as people that care about the wealthy? Neither side should be making generalizations.
-
If you are more concerned about the party feuding rather than WHAT they are feuding about then I really don't see a difference. Centrists want to keep the status quo, the status quo has been a decades-long abusive of the marginalized to benefit the wealthy.
-
Follow the money and you see who the Centrists are beholden to. You are voting against your best interests. What's sad is the supporters can generate this logic when berating and lecturing Conservatives but magically play dumb when it's time to stand by their own principles.
-
I vote for Jeff Merkley and Earl Blumenhaur - and they have always had my best interests and are not beholden to the rich. But I guess you think generalizations work?
-
I guess you think making this conversation about you when it is so clearly about the party as a whole, works.

She’s not wrong. The party is so divided and “so and so or bust” and “my idea is right and I don’t have to listen to anyone else” that honestly if we don’t get our act together Trump will get re-elected easily.

Probably not. Her career will be ok. If you can survive after advocating for punching a young child in the face, she’ll be fine.

False binaries, like Ms. Dowd's title, are a pretty good marker for disingenuous arguments and go-nowhere contributions to the 'discourse.'
