A whopping 68% of White Evangelicals say America has no responsibility to house refugees fleeing famine and war. That’s 25% over the national average! This not a theological issue. Bible couldn’t be clearer on this issue. This is pure, unadulterated, nativistism and racism. QED
Note also that Trump’s evangelical support is almost wholly White. 81% of WHITE Evangelicals voted for Trump; 68% of Evangelicals of color voted for Hillary. These are folks who share the same theology but just have a different skin tone. Let’s not pretend this isn’t about race.

It's absolutely about race. White Evangelical Christians have long embraced the Klan, especially here in GA. Hell, the guy who revived the GA KKK in the 20's was a Methodist minister, for Pete's sake.
But the religious component is important in other ways as it’s driving policy both foreign and domestic

This is where the longstanding rift between the Catholic and White Evangelical factions in the GOP's antichoice wing has been made even wider. (Catholics tending to have more non-Anglo ethnicities.) The White Evangelicals aren't "pro-life" if the lives belong to nonwhites.

Black people tend to vote Democratic, like 90%. The 68% shows that they break with racial norms to vote for Trump. You are peddling hatred, douche bag.
