Dude, no one is arguing the facts. We're arguing that referring to the rape of his mother was an incredibly crude, vulgar, classless and counterproductive way to make your point about his father's boorishness & misogyny when so many other ways were available.

If it were true it would be fine. But Ivana says it isn't true. So there. Believe the victim. I am a huge Reza Aslan fan. But he is dead wrong about this one. And it is embarrassing.

Ivanka swore it was true before her divorce settlement. It was a condition of her alimony, etc that she deny it....

Are you trying to say that you've never heard of people saying things during a divorce proceeding where a lot of money was involved that weren't true? She said it never happened recently so it has nothing to do with it, and no one else has any reason to doubt it

and I'm saying I don't care what you choose to believe. Reza is wrong to state something as a fact when it is obviously not. It is at best disputed.

When a witness says X, then a few years later clarifies, stating that X wasn't the right word, it is profoundly dishonest to cherrypick the data point that supports the argument you like.

Do you have any evidence for "she was paid to say something different in public"? Or did you just make that up, because you love the narrative it supports?
