It’ll work

it has some meaning that isn't in the damn dictionary, and all I can glean is it's "bad" for no reason at all
-
Americans have been primed for decades to fear the word with absolutely no context or history - it’s the way the super rich get the plebes to do their bidding
-
I keep trying ways to crack it . . . I thought if we started calling the folks against it "antisocialists" the meaning might pop a little better, but of course. Social media is the illusion of a voice, the illusion that we're in the conversation.
-
I mean, you get to express yourself, and that is important, whether you get heard or not.
-
Shouting into the void isn’t nearly as satisfying as I once thought
-
yeah. Expressing is like water, you need it regularly, but maybe being heard is like food, you need it somefuckingtime or you die
-
shit analogy but you get it. But it’s not huge having no voice online after you’ve found out you had none at home either. Fuck’s sake. Sorry.

I live in the Netherlands. Although somewhat more conservative than before, still a WAY more liberal and progressive country than the US. Way, way, waaaaay more liberal. And WE are not even close to being a socialist country. Not by a long shot.

I don’t think they understand that America does have socialism today and since 1776.

“Socialism” is one of those key words to wind people up hoping to frighten voters in an apocalyptic manner. Don't loose your cool, vote according to politicians track record and the platform they present at the time.

Americans are not scared of socialism. We just don't believe in a failed ideology.
-
Yes clearly all of Europe is so failing.

I think all Republicans should sign a form stating that they forfeit their social security payments. I mean they hate socialism right?

Sir, this is how they influence people in a way by showing them something which doesn't exist in reality
