I never said administrators should decide free speech on campus. I said all universities have the right to decide their own mission and values and reject speakers who violate those values. That’s why the audience clapped. You should be ashamed Maroja, whoever the hell you are.

Luana Maroja is not some Jr prof. She's an Associate Professor at Williams and chairs their biochemistry program. Oh, and she has a Ph.D. in biochemistry from Cornell. Beat a Harvard Divinity School Masters any day.
When a campus organization invites a speaker they should be free to speak. Those students matter. No one is forced to attend. Protest it peacefully. Censoring speech is wrong.
