I thought there was at least one contemporaneous account - Joshephus? Although, I admit to barely remembering my undergrad course on religious history... Other than the thesis I wrote on the history of the LDS church.
Josephus wasn’t a contemporary of Jesus but yes he does mention him...but only briefly in a passage in which he extolls Jesus’s (believe it or not, far more famous at the time) brother James.
