The very idea that someone handed every advantage is “self made” is insulting and reinforces the lie that those with inherited wealth didn’t start off on 3rd base and that those of us who aren’t wealthy just didn’t work as hard.

There are several people on that list that have had advantages in life but are considered "self made" (according to Forbes) Her inclusion on the list is prompting a visceral reaction that I find odd.

They are holding her up as “record breaking”. It’s a special distinction that is even more undeserved.

I beg to differ. She could've spent her teen years partying, getting drunk and doing nothing (like many young spoilt rich brats). But she created a fan following on Instagram, not a very easy thing to do. She decided to focus on what she knows best, make up, lip gloss.
