You should read this @laurawags essay. We’ve had two years with Trump, and too many folks are still unwilling to call out racist bullying. On video! If you need to experience this to recognize it, we are in trouble. http://deadsp.in/CZdFhzn

Nah we see the smile of a brave kid who knows he’s won. Peacefully standing there, accepting the native’s hate and admonishment, that kid is a winner and will go far in life. I only wish adults like Phillips had half the courage Sandmann does. Maybe he changed Phillip’s life.

Phillips felt so vulnerable that he marched up to a huge crowd of his "oppressors" and started banging a drum in the face of one of them? I see no vulnerability here. And the smugness you keep touting is not at all obvious. Were you never 16?

So a group of teenagers somehow was intimidating a much larger group of individuals. The native elder had no reason or right to get that close to that boy. Any reasonable adult would have told him to back up. But as usual the left sees what he did as racist and bigoted.Hypocrisy

How incredible is it that he took the lessons of Gandhi, MLK and other non violent heroes, internalized them, then displayed their power for the world to see. Sandmann is this generation’s youth leader.

I mean, if you can stare down the full force of bigots like yourself, and come out the other end better than when you started, well I think that kid’s got something we can all(mostly you) learn from. It was MLK day on Monday after all.
