Honestly, the way things are going socially, I'm sure there's war waiting just over the horizon, both sides show no signs of relenting and trying to find the middle ground. I can see the 2020 Presidential elections being bloody, especially if Trump wins again...

If you watch the video from the kid's left side it is obvious the kid isnt grinding. He is trying not to freak out at this old man trying to intimidate him. Its apparent the old man is doing it from that side and he has a friend telling the kids to go back to Europe hatefully.

I think you are right. That older guy just ealks up to the kid and starts beating the drum in his face like it is some kind of order for the kid.

It was a passive aggressive tactic to try and make the kid either verbally or physically assault Phillips. The kid behaved with restraint in a situation where he didn’t know what was going on.

That kid shows way more restraint than I would have. Someone swinging a hammer in front of my face? Nope. My fight or fight mode would kick in. Yes. I meant that the way I put it. I'm normally a calm and restrained guy. I just wouldn't advise surprising me up in my face like that
