I disagree. McConnell won't even let it go to the floor for a vote. The GOP will just keep repeating their voter fraud trope, and their base will eat it up. It might sway some moderates, but tbh I don't think we have enough of those left to make a difference.

No, it's really not. Further preventing access to the vote for marginal communities is where their base's heads are at. They have no interest in bringing more people into the electorate.

The Dems need to start firing up messaging starting in January. They will have an uphill battle because the "Liberal" media tend to favor Republicans and their talking points. Better get @GeorgeLakoff to handle their branding and messaging.

I think we have seen enough evidence that they no longer care about the optics. Shaming them is not an option.

It's a basic principle of nationalism that *all* people do not deserve to vote. Only "we" the "good people" should vote. They cheer gerrymandering and vote rigging. I see no issue in the GOP opposing voting rights. What am I missing?
