I completely agree with that point, Reza. But read the article ... TM's dubious claims go way further, asserting their meditators lowered the crime rate in certain areas and got American to reject GMOs.

Believing in something that CAN'T be proven false is a religion. Believing in things that CAN be proven false is a cult. There is scientific evidence that meditation can have some positive health effects, but the wild claims of TM make it a cult.
