interesting point but of course you are confused- if she had reported to the authorities 36 years ago there would have been no circus, no national news, just the pursuit of justice - so you are now making the case that she should have done just that which is what normally happens

when a crime is committed and justice is sought normally the victim reports said crime to authorities - yes, that's how it works
