I have but I think that it's interesting that people keep saying that this is not who we are completely forgetting American history - i.e. slavery, genocide of Native Americans, Jim Crow, lynching, Japanese internment camps etc.

I fear things will get even worse. We have a large percentage of our population that will remain apathetic until something impacts them personally. This is how democracy dies. It will get to the point where we no longer have the option to fight back, and then it's done.
