    Let me be clear as a bell on this. The is no longer just talking abt in journalism. The moment has come to dismantle systemic racism in newsrooms. That is THE conversation. That must be THE goal. Anything less misses the moment.

    What a damn headline. Can you demonstrate where else we call those who fought against the U.S. war heroes? And a man who fought to preserve racial slavery is “largely seen” as a symbol of “racial injustice?” This is how discomfort obscures the truth and relies on euphemism.

    Michael K. Williams, who played Omar Little in "The Wire" with hard-edge charisma, was found dead in his home in Brooklyn. He was 54. His death is being investigated as a possible drug overdose. New York City’s medical examiner will determine the cause.

    If this strategy wins out, we are likely 2C increasing political violence & unrest. This is very, very troubling. This will play out differently state-to-state. It feels as though we will become less the United States. This need to be covered by journos locally and nationally.

    This is factually incorrect. Among the most notable crises: a global pandemic woefully mishandled at home, one impeachment, an insurrection that led to a second. To say nothing of the massive turnover of key admin members, indictments, etc.
