If we live in unsavory times, it’s because of a deficiency of the sacred salt that gives flavor to all life. We must penetrate every area of our society with God’s truth.

We are here to fulfill God’s Kingdom purpose as children of light…as sold-out, Spirit-filled followers of Christ. The world will know we are His disciples by our love for Him and one another.

The worldview of many Christians and world leaders has been perverted by the influences of this present world. The necessary restoration will occur only if people of faith and those who understand the value of true freedom become inspired, informed and involved.

Democracy is a great privilege and opportunity to achieve, but it can lead to tyranny when the majority think and live out of harmony with God’s truth, will and sensible thinking.

Every challenge is God’s opportunity to chisel away certain things in our lives and develop beautiful qualities. Rather than asking if the pressure came from the devil or from God, begin asking, “Lord, what do You want to accomplish through this?”

It is by no means a new thing in the kingdom of God for His people to deal with political issues. History reveals that God has used His messengers to affect political affairs beginning with Moses, Joseph, the prophets and New Testament disciples.

“Jesus answered and said to him, ‘If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our abode with him’” (John 14:23, NASB).

If there is darkness in the land, it’s because the light is hidden. Jesus commanded us to put the light on the lampstand, not under a bushel.

God commanded us to allow Him to plow up the hard ground of our own heart. We’ve got to be ablaze with the Word of God, or we will be consumed by the fires of judgment for our idolatrous ways.

When you face personal challenges in your own life, may I suggest you diligently seek to help someone else deal with the challenges in their life? If you want your prayers answered, seek to be an answer to someone’s prayer.

Adam made the worst swap in history when he traded sonship for orphan status. His attempts to cover his guilt by his own efforts and mere fig leaves were as futile as people trying to practice religious behavior and traditions in order to earn forgiveness and salvation.

Believers must recognize the importance of active faith replacing passive faith and lives being lived as warriors and soldiers of the Lord Jesus. We will not be burned in the fiery furnace of life’s many trials…because we have the “fourth man” in the midst of the flames.

This is your moment to reveal the kingdom of the coming King! It doesn’t matter how old you are or how young. How large or small you see yourselves. God’s kingdom will become HUGE through you when you allow God to be as big as He really is.

We do not have to lose everything to find the unshakable kingdom, but we do have to lay all things down before Him and make certain He is first in order to experience the power of kingdom reality.

The only reason anyone can fulfill the “American dream” is because the dream of our nation’s founders was a nation where people worshipped God openly and freely. They established a sound foundation upon which responsible people could build – and it worked!

In times of shaking or doomsday predictions, let’s keep trusting God, loving Jesus, praying for others, helping the poor and living to fulfill God’s Kingdom purpose. When we do this, we will experience abiding unshakable peace. Pressure drives us even closer to God’s heart!

When I ask God to share with me what is on His heart, He makes it evident that I am on His heart – and so are you. It is amazing how such a mighty God cares so deeply about us as individuals, however undeserving one may feel.

If your relationships with people around you are faltering, take a deeper look at your relationship with God. A right relationship with God inspires us to develop meaningful relationships with others and to want everyone to understand the power of adoption into His family.

The Bible says the kingdoms of this world will be shaken. The tremors have begun. All kingdoms established by men fail—religion, fascism, communism, socialism and even capitalism when we make it an idol. If we trust God in everything, we have a kingdom that cannot be shaken.
