Must confess, I sympathize with the pizza gate shooter. I mean, it's an idiotic conspiracy, but he investigated the rumors and injured zero people in so doing, which is better than the police would have done. He should be teaching seminars to cops instead of Erick Gelhaus.

Buried in the video: apparently he was able to own a gun - the AR-15 - that could shoot though SWAT team shields.

Most any rifle round could penetrate level 3A shields. They were only meant to stop up to .44 Magnum rounds, as well as shotgun slugs, which are big, but slow. Most hunting rifles could puncture it easily. Give me a good stiff dagger and I could atleast picture an inch or so.
