    Do we need something like `<img srcset="foo 400w bar 800w..." maxdensity="2x">` to prevent browsers with 3x screens from downloading images that are too large? ( for context)

    Any responsive images nerds got a suggestion for how to handle this case? (Defining srcset sizes for a "cover"-sized image) (please reply to original thread)

    You're using an img tag with srcset/sizes to provide a few different options as a responsive solution. You're using object-fit: cover on the body. How do you define that in sizes to make sure the browser provides the right size? object-fit: cover can cause unpredictable scaling.

    Yo, folks! I'm looking for concrete use-cases for something like `physicalWidth`/`physicalHeight` methods which will give you the (non-corrected) resource dimensions. Would that be helpful? If so, why?
