Fiddling with some basic palettized 2d lighting in with the new 0.2.4 screen-sspr mapping stuff! Eventual goal is to make a little plug-and-play type thing you can add to any game. There's still something going on with the dash though ...

The answer to taming the inflation caused by higher fuel prices is NOT to drill for more oil and gas. The answer is to kick the fossil fuel habit by transitioning to clean energy.

After the success of our private beta for iOS and Android, we've decided to release Barnard's Star as a mobile-only game, and not list it on any PC storefronts such as Steam. This was a big decision -- I'll walk you through the reasoning why.

This whole thread is wild. I hadn't realized that Uber Eats (and essentially all the food delivery apps) were trying the same scam/endgame that Uber's been going for.

And despite the truly unprecedented size of this project, the developers are claiming they can do it for $2.6 billion in just 8 years ... ... and they don't even have a scientist on their team. It's full of engineers, lawyers, and real estate people, but no one with a Ph.D.

Some highlights: the proposed project is 10x bigger than the biggest-ever dredged-island project, which took 23 years and cost $20bn the proposed project is a massive *370x* bigger than the biggest-ever freshwater-dredging project, which took 10 years and cost $1.6bn

When I first heard of the proposal to dredge Utah Lake, it sounded kinda cool. But looking more into it: A) The proposal is horribly misguided B) Utah Lake is already making measurably progress towards being a healthy lake Lots more info here:
