Susie 2.0 uses a Super Soaker to attack. Also, the "boss attack" stars that are generated from her are purple. They also bounce around, rather than sit still like usual. Possibly an attack, too?pic.twitter.com/WYrFD1DySg
Kirby's closed eye, for some reason, has a ton of detail added to it. Also, his pink eye ring thingy from renders is present.pic.twitter.com/mv6hwTjLp7
This isn't exactly visuals, but...after 15 years, Sir Kibble finally remembered how to walk!pic.twitter.com/vr4ZTbOiZB
When enemies are hit with paint-based attacks, they actually end up covered in various colors. Once they're eliminated, they end up exploding into paint rather than dust and stars. (Noddy and Sir Kibble are shown)pic.twitter.com/fX2XRwcnLw
The star particles that are generated from landing attacks all have individual light sources. Neat!pic.twitter.com/kInVijqgqO
It's been many, maaaaaannny years, but the enemy spawner is finally returning to a mainline Kirby title. Here's an adorable tiny Nruff being generated into existence. Also, it's pretty obvious, but this area is actually Dedede's Castle.pic.twitter.com/NdtpnyeLwS
It probably has absolutely no relevance, but the sculptures in Dedede's Castle look like Pix. Pix is super generic, though.pic.twitter.com/k00RaCqs5j
The Friend Train is a direct reference to the Pupupu Train lineup, which was also developed for Kirby's 25th anniversary. The one in Star Allies is even roped together through some magical sparkle rope thing.pic.twitter.com/fq7orzUsit
It seems that enemies can drop the hats, similar to how Kirby created them in Super Star. Also, the bottom of the Warp Star features a heart insignia.pic.twitter.com/oFMaPBUXcU
The water helper, Driblee, floats with a tube...yet the tube is underwater. Also, Driblee's design was revamped from E3.pic.twitter.com/WvwDQzP6BN
Pop Flowers are returning. It's not exactly told from this one, but it's likely that they're once again based on the level theme.pic.twitter.com/8rfsptDhd3
Propeller returns, no longer mechanized from Planet Robobot.pic.twitter.com/ct4IGQ8wZF
The star that usually pops out when Kirby lands isn't present. It's unlikely to return at this point, given that it hasn't been in any game since Robobot.pic.twitter.com/I1JH7iFTeZ
Anyways, that's all I've got. The rest is more gameplay-orientated, which I'm not sure anybody cares about.
Alright, round 2. Tagging @Nirbion, @jdaster64, @roselii49 and @CardboardDeluxe in case they're still interested. I'll be collecting screenshots and .gifs as I go, so bear with me. Also might drop some more visual stuff in-between.
(First Trailer) When Water uses it's dash attack to break the barrel, the move is actually stopped. It's almost instantaneous, but a slide attack is actually used to break it, instead. This may just be an early animation error, but otherwise it means Water is much faster.pic.twitter.com/FFD35vhN1v
You can see the entire segment in-action, showing off just how fast this scene is. Another thing to note (which is HUGE!!!) is that Water begins dashing at full speed right after the barrel is broken. In RtDL, the ability's dash previously had a really bad starting acceleration.pic.twitter.com/J3Ng3t8kPl
Several abilities have been shown to have unique attacks combined to their "Combo" action key. These can be accessed until Kirby or another Helper initiates a combo move. It's unknown if all abilities have these, however, as abilities such as Sword have simply held the stance.pic.twitter.com/nY2aeIQHvi
Multiple attacks seem to have unique properties when combo'd with another element. Ice Hammer Flip creates a wave of glaciers. Water Hammer Flip is seen, too, but it's property isn't exactly clear due to the clip; a water wave seems to be created from it.pic.twitter.com/VV2oG6Qy7a
Ice Upward Slash creates walls of ice. The walls created can deal damage to and freeze enemies, while Sword Dive destroys it. Fire Sword Dive can create waves of flame and burn objects, such as grass.pic.twitter.com/mJzfVzWRAF
Wind Bomb Hold allows Kirby and Co. to float vertically. It's unknown if horizontal momentum is locked. Ice Bomb Bowl creates walls of ice when the bomb comes into contact and explodes.pic.twitter.com/g5d1TgfUnE
Dedede's crown ring was updated to look more like the previous designs, with less metallic reflections and brighter colors. The background in this stage was also improved heavily, along with being moved slightly sideways.pic.twitter.com/IfvwJQCyzJ
Shadows in this game are dynamically updated and generated. In previous 3D Kirby games, shadows would only exist when the developers decided to individually tile them in. Also, characters and entities now have shadows reflecting their model, rather than being the generic circle.pic.twitter.com/xjllDqaadg
Elemental weaknesses are likely returning after only being featured in Kirby Super Star and Kirby Super Star Ultra. In the screenshot, Whispy can be seen caught on fire, absolutely tanking his health bar.pic.twitter.com/PSpiZlrYXx
Another example of elemental weaknesses is when the Waddle Dee Puppet is lit on fire. The Waddle Dee that come out are immediately killed.pic.twitter.com/wERdWw2vum
When Cleaning's dash attack is ended, there is no horizontal momentum stop (think: Sword). The ability retains all momentum when finishing, while also retaining the dash state. The move's start-up does pause horizontal momentum, however.pic.twitter.com/CeEAGQKxpr
