    Words have consequences. Anti-Semitic words have led to violence and death for generations of Jews, including Jews today - around the world and in America. This is intensely personal for me and I wanted my colleagues to understand why.

    I condemn the use of anti-Semitism by my colleagues - Democrat and Republican - and by your campaign. We must unequivocally condemn the use of anti-Semitism AND anti-Semites chanting, “Jews will not replace us.” This isn’t political. It’s life and death. Please stop.

    Last year, I toured the Homestead shelter where the Admin. detains children separated from their families at the border. Last week, I released HHS data of alleged sexual assault of minors, incl. at this facility. HHS needs to address these allegations.
