  1. Shotspotter tech is an important tool that helps law enforcement detect gunshots & catch criminals - and it’s working in the HV. I was proud to work alongside the City of Newburgh & the DOJ to get this tech deployed to make our streets safer.

    On Saturday U.S. Representative Sean Patrick Maloney presented 89 year-old Irma Turner Estis with the Congressional Gold Medal, the highest honor a civilian can earn for her Civil Air Patrol Service during WWII....

  15. First thing GOP did when this Congress started was try to gut the ethics office. We've got two members of Congress under active investigations, forced resignations, & a culture of corruption in Washington. Should beef up ethics office - not tear it down.

    Good news for Newburgh Fire - HV congressional reps Schumer, Gillibrand & Maloney announce nearly $1.5M for fire department awarded through SAFER grant.

  20. This is a huge win. We’ve been all over FEMA for months to get this funding. People in Newburgh can sleep more soundly knowing that their FD will again have resources it needs to quickly respond to emergencies.
