    [1/2] I was living and working in Alaska when I was 18 years old and cast my first votes. That was in 1982, and I voted for Congressman Don Young. I never thought that 33 years later, he and I would be colleagues in the U.S. Congress.

    Suspending Georgia’s motor fuel tax is a pragmatic response to the unprecedented crisis we are in due to Biden’s war on American energy production. Thank you Governor Kemp for taking steps to lessen the pain Georgian’s are feeling at the pump.

    Due to a total failure of leadership in Washington, we are actively working with the Georgia House & Senate to quickly move legislation that will temporarily suspend the state’s motor fuel tax & lessen the significant impact higher gas prices are having on Georgia families. (1/2)
