In the coming weeks, I will be working w/ the FAA and members of our state’s aviation community to discuss the report's recommendations & how to continue moving forward in this transportation sector.

Specifically, I asked the Administrator that the FAA & the Admin prioritize investments to fund the report's recommendations in 's Budget Request for FY23. I'll continue working to secure these investments, but it MUST be a joint effort between the Admin and Congress.

The FAASI report highlights what specific investments must to be made, and I will continue pushing to make those resources available so that our pilots – and future generations of them – can safely fly to every corner of Alaska.

I want to thank the FAA staff in both Alaska and Washington, D.C. for making today's event possible.
