Heartbroken to hear about the Selma police officer who was shot & killed in the line of duty. The suspect is a known criminal with a history of violence and was supposed to be in jail. California’s soft-on-crime policies are to blame for this senseless and tragic loss of life.

Since October of last year, California has flushed over 6.4 million acre-feet of water out to the ocean. This is extremely frustrating to our farmers fallowing their fields and the communities running out of water for daily use in homes and businesses.

I just voted to ban the sale of our Strategic Petroleum Reserves to the #CCP. These reserves are meant for emergency situations only, they’re not supposed to be a band-aid fix for the President’s bad energy policies.
