    Yesterday, I attended the ribbon-cutting of the Healing House's new facility in the Historic Northeast of KC. As the opioid epidemic worsens, it's critical we support orgs that provide treatment & housing to those facing addiction. Thanks to Healing House for their great work!

    Let's be clear: 3,000 Americans died in Puerto Rico following Hurricane Maria due to a failed response by this administration. If Republicans would allow any meaningful investigation into the aftermath of Maria, we could confirm this. There's a reason they won't allow that.

    3000 people did not die in the two hurricanes that hit Puerto Rico. When I left the Island, AFTER the storm had hit, they had anywhere from 6 to 18 deaths. As time went by it did not go up by much. Then, a long time later, they started to report really large numbers, like 3000...
