Great! Since the British brought slavery to the colonies and the cotton gin made slavery an institution, it's only right that the UK and the Whitney family pay everyone of color $2000 a month. (And still that won't be enough. Just drop it.)
This is wrong. The effects of slavery have carried on far past June 19, 1865 & electing an African-American president did not do away the harms done to generations.
