It would be so much better if we could just get some cars out of the way instead of trying to build a modern transportation system around the edges of these aging car sewers without disturbing auto supremacy.

Being able to handle higher capacity busses is a win, but a small one. It has limited value if those bigger busses are still stuck crawling behind a long chain of SOVs hogging the street. I guess riders get a little more elbow room while they wait?
