As people awake to the appalling & terrifying news out of New Zealand, mass murder fueled by racial hatred & Islamophobia is a jarring reminder that hatred and violence know no national boundaries. This is why we must take the real scourge of islamophobia seriously.
This tragedy is also a powerful reminder that communities around the globe are all at risk when confronted with hate. We must redouble our efforts to fight extremism and gun violence at home and abroad.

I keep thinking about what happened on the MAX here and how 45 being able to spread his filth is hitting every community. It's hard to feel hopeful about the future. Thanks for being such a great congressperson who stands up to hate.
"Never let a good crisis go to waste." It's alarming seeing Politicians so quick to use that atrocity as an opportunity to gun grab and remove the Citizens Right to Bear Arms. The threat of Tyranny from Politicians is more real than the remote threat of Terrorism.
