So you want to tax people more, but give them a bigger return so it seems like they paid less in taxes. That is manipulative and taking advantage of people who do not understand the tax system. I will take my lower return and lower taxes over your dishonesty anyday.

I recieved $300 less in my refund but I take home $200 more a month. So, where is the scam other than some people can't budget. The experts always told us to never rely on tax refunds as guaranteed income. That's basic budgeting.

Guess they should have saved some of the money they received during the year from the extra money not taken out for taxes These people ARE in the minority of taxpayers so try not to cry very hard for them. If they can still itemize their income is UPPER CLASS. GO TO WORK EARL

What's sad is what Govt spending has done to the Dollar. Their problems are being caused by higher prices, a symptom of Inflation and the loss of purchasing power. A severe Economic Depression is coming yet no Politician warns the Public. People are over leveraged. No Savings!pic.twitter.com/bZRjgRaE0h

They received their savings every month rather then sending to the I RS...for a zero interest savings account . The point is to have a break even. Refund amout means nothing tax liability is what matters.
