Led his party to the largest defeat in 42 yrs.
In 20 yrs he could never admit failures or acknowledge that his numbers never added up, despite the cheerleading of WSJ & Fox News. He was complicit in Trump undermining the credibility & integrity of our Democracy. It is a sad end for a nice guy who just could not deliver.
It wasn’t that he couldn’t deliver. It was that he chose not to. He wasn’t thwarted somehow. Anyone who wants to take healthcare away from 20 million people and who wants to diminish the safety net for the most vulnerable of our citizens is not “nice“ in my book.
